It takes a quote as wonderful as the following to prompt me to write another journal entry.


"Even though we've had our differences over the years I clearly owe Jesus a beer if he's able to get Anne Rice to stop writing those god-awful vampire novels.

I am so god damned sick and tired of the "Woe is me, my immortal angst pines for the desolate solitude of my lonely fjords" crap that has become the once mighty "king of the monsters". Vampires used to be scary, but now the worst they seem to do is take you off their friends-list on LiveJournal. I am thoroughly bored with the anstpires."

I found it on fark.com in a discussion on Anne Rice finding God and witing about the life of Jesus. I figured I'd post it since half of dA seems to be composed of teenage 'angstpires' (I believe the author of the quote mistyped).
